There are no Real math functions in a Logo, but with some tricks it can be done. In the attachment little thing i made to measure the lenght of a chain with to sensors and display it in meters and centimeters with 1 decimal. Sorry for the dutch comments, but that's where i live The trick is to multiply your value, beware not to exceed 1000, In the properties of the aritmic block you can choose how many numbers you want behind the decimal point to show in the display. Hi, This is really bugging me now. Im trying to measure the time between two input signals and in essence have got it...but, the with the asynch pulse generator set to 5/100 and 5/100 , it seem to be lagging when I time it against my watch. Hi Darren, to give you an answer, we must know some facts: - the timeing of the two sensors at I1 and I2 (times and relative cycles)? - the LOGO!-cyclic frequency? - are the trigger of your logo-inputs and you external watch the same? Perhaps test the following: - use the fast inputs I3 to I6 - invert the pin INV at the pulstrigger AND not invert the pin cnt of the counter Best regards Betel |
