Hi , please first make auto tunning then run motorand stillproblem not solved try other motor it may wear/tear in motor bearing or some parts. VP |

Hello,,, First of all this is a Analog control you need to do the optimization manually... why optimization is requried....when it is running machine and settings are not distrubed..... I belive auto optimazation is not requried unless the problem is looked properly..... Coming to the problem....this looks like standalone machine or it is connected to any CNC machine ??? What type of application is this ??? Can you try reducing the KP which there in control card. By any chance have you distrub this settings which is there in the control card. or you observing it is oscillating.....forward /reverse... May be the bearing noise in the motor.,,. Check it out and revert back... Regards, Prakash |

Sorry, but I may have misunderstood the difference between 611A and 611. Becaus I dont have any KP pot-meter to adjust on, at this controlcard. So maybe the Autotune is the way to go? But how? Im very new to this... This is the spindelmotor in a tapping unit. That is a part of an OSAI CNC controlled machine. If I put a finger on the axel out of the motor. I feel it oscillating back and forward at high frequency when the simodrive is enabled and with 0V at input terminal 56-14. There is no mechanical disturbance when this is happening. The bearings in the motor seems to be OK. |

Hello, Do you get any alarm or message? Do you see spindle RPM fluctuations on disply. What I feel is since it is under (motor) close loop with 0volt as set point or reference value, you are observing this. Its nromal behaviour. Generaly spindle motors are not operated with 0 volt reference, it has speed range e.g. 10-3000 or 5-1500 RPM. So please check the motor name plate for correct operation range. Also increse the reference/set point voltage & check motor speed & vibrations, run the motor at full RPM & observe motor speed performance, if it is smoth its OK. |

Hello, Can you provide what type of control card are you using? type no. Does the motor is oscillating front and back side the motor by any chance... Regards, Prakash |
