Not able to access the forum room Step7/ Step7 Lite

manmeet Gold Member Joined: 1/3/2006 Last visit: 11/19/2020 Posts: 725 Rating: (70)	Hi, Iam unable to access two rooms of this forum a) Step7/Step7 Lite and b) PCS 7. I can access all other rooms without problem and can post and reply. When I try to Login and enter the above mentioned rooms then after a while I get message of "actions not completed, Data provider error" message. Both these rooms are available if I logout ! Have uploaded avideo in youtubedepicting my problem, please check and see whats going on. I have tried solving problem by deleting my browser history and using CCleaner but of not avail. I have two browser IE V8 and Chrome V21. In IE I cant even find the LOGIN button !

manmeet_virdi Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello Moderators, I have now created a new LOGIN ID with manmeet_virdi and now I can access all the rooms of the forum. Whats going on? There is no problem with my OS or Browser, as soon as I created new login id, I was able to visit every room of this forum including "Step7 / Step7" Lite and "PCS7". This means that problem is only with my above login ID. Do take out some time to solve this problem of mine. Note:Also not able to access the above said rooms even through my smartphone. Previously I was able to.

Our real active users have such problems sometimes, so you could see it as some kind of privilige(i am just kidding a little bit). We are trying to reduce these problems as good as we can, but can not totally clear the problem at the moment. But we will have the new forum soon ( have you senn this?) and then i think many problems will be cleared. Best regards O_Moderator

Say if you can't access WinCC forum then you can do the following: 1. Open Chrome and you can LOGIN to forum in this browser. 2. Open IE and don't login in this browser. So from this browser you can go inside WinCC conference. If you want toreply to a particular thread in this conference then copy the address of this thread and paste it in Chrome where you have already LOGIN. 3. Now don't hit REPLY button, instead press "Preview" button and then "Publish". Simple. Chrome and IE are browser which Iam using but this will be working for any combination of browser. Point isyou need two browsers!
