Hello callsg; The standard Siemens is refering to on their datasheet for the Relay Output module of the S7-400 family is IEC 647-5-1. This describes the make-before-break characteristics of small powercontrol circuits. Siemens garantees 100,000 operations of their relay outputs at certain voltage and current rating described by the IEC 647-5-1 standard. If your power ratings in the field are lower than the limits then you will probably extend the operating life of the electro-mechanical relays on the board. Thank you for your answer. I have already understood that standard. The current of site is low than the standard. I can get longer life of relay. |
