Hi dear Vithani , I studied the compendium and your reply too I referredcompendium page#511,526,534,536 ,609,597 etc. Your assumption for 5 DI's is correct , but in your logic DI1 is used in ex or gate but not used for hoisting, in your logic only DI2 fed to switchable sign inverter (page#597) is used for hoist and lowering, is it possible to add DI1 for hoisting( somewhere in btwn we intrude DI1 for hoisting too), because DI 2 is serving the purpose of direction reversal , and during lowering too itis used ,and I want DI1 to get utilized for hoisting my exact logic in binary form in attached excel file for 4 speed hoist travel(we are discussing) as well as for 5 speed hoist travel I deem that using your scheme we can configure only 4 speed Although your logic will do the desired,I am eager to know what is the use of , and how can we use fixed set point U011....U014and so on ,(page#593 ) is it possible to use these fixed setpoints for our problem , because I think if some how we can use these fixed set points and connect them to switchable sign invertor in controlled manner determined by status of DI's; we will be able to configure 5 speed too. One more question what will be the P114 for hoisting operation? I think it should be 4 or 6 which is the correct please tell. In my future posts I will upload a typical parameter set for 30 ton hoisting application and with in this thread we will discuss the hoisting failures too because hoisting is the most critical application of drives in industries. Ok.. Attached Excel file with Showing Free Blocks.. But remember this is for reference Only.. What Logic I gave you earlier is based on Assumption of Speed Logic I discussed.. Study my Uploaded file also... It clearly make 5 Speed Logic.. And if you wanna use those Fixed Setpoints then you have to use AND OR etc etc and I dont like it because its being More complicated... Regarding P114- it should be 6 but I also used 0 so many times.. And Hoisting is Not Much difficult.. Just need perfact tunning and With Encoder operation and Masterdrive will give best result.. Regarding Logic, I used DI 1 for hoisting and DI 2 for Lowering... Ex OR is used to Avoid both Input at a time..Just a safety Concern.. And if you want to add one speed with One more DI, remember one more space is free in Function Diagram No 290 (Page534) - Partameter P418... Just Use P418, P417 P580, P581 and make whatever Logic you want.. Feel Free in case you need further Help.. Regards Devesh Vithani |
