Pepsi Cola Bronze Member Joined: 3/24/2018 Last visit: 2/22/2021 Posts: 153 Rating: (1)	Hi I have installed Simatic Manager V 5.6 on a new Lab top OS:Windows 7 ultimate When I open PG/PC setting ,I did not find PC Adapter USB. Also I did not find it in device manager. I try to install the drive software but without result. What is the problem? Bye

But this not happen in older versions. I install the driver software without the adapter connected. Older versions of the adapter didn't get the operational voltage from the USB port, but A2 does get the operational voltage from the USB port. Edit: If you did a full installation of Step7 v5.6, the drivers should already be installed, so just plug in the Adapter.
