Hello tementaXCD, I am not aware of anybody being successful in the general type of description you provide for an application. Limitations which come to mind: 1. A servo drive for a servo motor regulates the phase angle for optimum commutation of its pulse width modulated output waveform to optimize amount of torque for rotation of motor(resulting in movement of load). I am not aware of any microcontroller which can perform this optimum commutation. 2. Concerning positioning to close the position loop must have some type of feedback to a device which can provide position feedback either to servo drive or to micro controller. In many servo drive systems the servo drive can interpret the feedback from servo motor and monitor /perform position commands. For instance, SINAMICS S110 drive or SINAMICS S120 drive systems with SIMOTICS S-1FK7 servo motors. Size of motor needed would depend upon the mechanics of transfer motor rotation to movement of load. On the other hand for position regulation, a true monitoring could be performed by an external encoder providing feedback to to microcontroller Else, a crude positioning could be performed by use of limit switches to a digital input.
