Hello Teo; Siemens has developed a specific version of its standard PID controller applied to temperature control, FB58 "TCONT_CP". As you can see from the following discussion from Hamid Hosseini (there are quite a number is such threads on the subject) there is a sample project in the Step 7 libraries along with a manual that discusses auto-tuning for FB58. https://support.industry.siemens.com/tf/ww/en/posts/fb58-pid-auto-tune/56651/?page=0&pageSize=10 Hope this helps, |

Hello, thanks for your answer but i want to use FB41 and no fb58. Any example? |

Hello Teo; No example we can provide will give you parameters that fit your process. As tated before, you have to use different techniques and calculations to find the optimal parameters for your temperature control. The type of questions you are asking indicate you would profit by a refresher on control loop tuning; this video offers quite good information on tuning control loops: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3viD5ij60EI AutoTune is a programmed way of finding very close-to-optimal values for the PID loop, you can then tweak them depending on the response you expect from your process. Open the first link I provided, ypu will find hints and descriptions shoeing how to use the AutoTune functions for FB58. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
