Poljachina Posts: 62 Rating: (0)	I installed the V12 version on a new laptop and ever since this is troubling me. It is even happening if I open an old project that was made in V11. I just changed an operand in the FBD, I didn't add or delete any tags and again the operator panel started outputting the before mentioned errors. But it's strange that always the tags that are associated for discrete alarms can't be accessed. So I don't know what is wrong. I tried to reconnect and rewire all the tags but it's the same the problem doesn't go away. I might reinstall everything on the new laptop, but that's a couple of hours of work to do so. It annoys me that I've got to do this because the program doesn't work as it should. I don't even want to say how many times this V12 version of TIA portal crashes on me.

SarnoldAppliedc Posts: 4 Rating: (1)	Had the exact same issues. (Also with M-memory tags) Discovered a power cycle of theTP Panel would restore the connection. I will also try to install update3 to see if it fixes it.

Everything is working fine, then I create only 1 new variable and the panel cannot reach all (and only) the M or MW variables anymore in the PLC. The DB variables are never the problem. Then I make from these M and MW variables an absolute addressing and it is OK. But this is like you say not the solution. Do you have some news or new solutions ? (I do not installed yet the update 4 on my V12 but can this help ?) Cut off the power off and on was working 1 time on another project but not more on my new project. Thanks and best regards

SarnoldAppliedc Posts: 4 Rating: (1)	Siemens Tech Support did acknowledge there is aissue with V12 using Symbolic addressing of M-Memory. ( I called again afterit occurredon a second system) They said that the fix is supposed to be in V13 but I did not have a chance to test it yet to confirm.
