NO, because (I assume this) You want to add 3rd parties Profibus devices on the bus. This is not possible, because all DP-configurations in the 802 are predefined by SIEMENS. There's a machine parameter in the 802 for selection the requested bus configuration (sorry, forgot. Please check the manufacturers documentation, the parameter must be found below "general data".) If the predefined DP-configurations do not match with Your requirenment - there's no solution for Your problem. regards CNC600

vki Posts: 63 Rating: (3)	For YES, Some more additional information. You can connect some external i/os[ digital and analog]to plc 802 master using EM 277 adapter. If you are looking for same solution reply me back.
