In most cases the issue is Step 7 Basic.. Did you restart the engineering environment??? |

hello, you only can change IP adress, Subnet mask and default gateway using the IPTool, with this tool you can STOP, RUN and flashing the S7-1200, you cannot reset to factory settings with the IPTool (rememberto configurate the PG/PC-IPtool interface, selecting the proper Ethernet-board), anyway this tool always works, believe me but if you still have problems after updating WinXP to SP3, i will try to check the Ethernet-board, it is working properly, update driver? try it connecting to Internet, if not check your PC hardware features, i mean it is your RAM good enought? the only two ways to reset to factory setting are: using the STEP 7 Basic V10.5 or using a Blanck Siemens Memory Card http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/41306474 |
