Hello plc290; Would it be possible to open your diagnostic buffer on the CPU, use the Save As.. button (on the diagnostic buffer page), so you send all the logged messages to a text file? You can then attach this file with your next post, that way we can see what events are provoking the activation of SF and BF LEDs. Why is there need for a repeater between your touchscreen and Cabinet #3? Is it a question of distance? What is the speed setting for the Profibus network, and what is the total length of the bus, starting from Cabinet #4 to Cabinet #3? Would it be possible for you to check all the Profibus connectors in your network, and update your original sketch, so that you show us all the nodes where your Profibus terminators are active? Thanks for reply. I already did all these checks that in your attached article. In addition I replaced all the connectors with a new one and confirming the postion of terminating resistor for each. The distance for all Bus is aboot 400 meters. all messages in Diagnostic Buffer show only plc can not communicate with cabinet 3. The IM for cabinet 4 doesn't show any faults although the PLC program is running and HMI can't read any data. BTW, I tried to bypass the HMI from network. the problem is still exist. |
