Hi All, I am trying connect water flow sensor with my LOGO! 8 0BA8 (see attachment). Can you help me with pull up resistor(what value do I need to get pulses correct) and wiring? Hello Jac, Please take a look page 328 Logo Manual, 07/2016, A5E33039675. If you are using Logo 12/24 RCE or RCEo, the voltage supply range is 10.8 to 28.8 Vcc. The sensor supply voltage is 2.4 to 26 Vcc. So, you can use the supply voltage of your Logo to the sensor if up to 26 Vcc. Connect directly the brown sensor cable to Inputs I3, I4, I5 or I6 (high speed inputs), because your sensor will gives up to 110 Hz. Regards, AttachmentSensor wiring 26 10 2016.zip (384 Downloads) |

Hello Jac, You have a pretty square wave. Check these points, please: 1. The state "1" of brown cable is a positive value? I saw in the scope photo -14,21 Vcc (?!?!). 2. Connect the brown cable at any high speed inputs: I6, for example. 3. In the program you must use a "Threshold trigger" block function to read these input pulses. 4. Additionally you can use a "Analog amplifier": it is usefull to convert frequency numbers to phisical values, like liters per minute. By this function, probably you will need to adjust the Gain according the real flow: it is a "sensor calibration". Regards, AttachmentFlow sensor 30 10 2016.zip (335 Downloads) |
