Hi Tech Team, Thanks very much for your share. Could you explain it clearly how to solve this problem. I will have to check on drive or modify the OFF2 on software. Please see hardware config for controlling my motors. Each Inverter will control 8 motors, i have 6 inveters ( 48motors) which got the same problems when losing the power ( both inverters and double motor modules). As i first time to work this so i really need a specified methode to solve it. Thanks.

Hello, OFF_2 is the reaction of a fault e.g. DC-Linkundervoltage. The drive has no other option in this case, because he has no energy to ramp down the motors. First you have to analyse, why you get a OFF_2 (Errornumber). Then you have to think about how to avoid this. VDC-min controller http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/82608943 or Detect the powerfailure and then make a cordinate breakdown. Maybe a braking resistor is necessery to avoid DC-linkovervoltage during braking. |

Hello, the problem is the power failure. The result is a Error number e.g. –Typical cause Failure of the supply voltage or supply for the DC link. –Remedy Specify a regenerative torque for the rotating drive to compensate the existing losses, thereby stabilizing the voltage in the DC link (kinetic buffering). But it is necessery to have mechanic energy in the system to get braking energy.
