Hi everyone, I wanted to use one of this methods (set/reset bit) in my network, which consists of an S7-300 and several HMI devices. My question might be easy to anwser for you guys, but I'm new in this and it's the first time I'm learning about Profibus. I know about the "token" connection mode in Profibus and my question is: if the PLC is communication with Panel2 and I have a momentary bit set in Panel 3 which will be inmediately reset using one the methods above, what happens to that information? Does it get lost? Is it necessary for the PLC to be communicating with the Panel in the exact moment in which the bit is set? Thanks for your patience, Sara Splitted from Momentary tag using button. |
