Dear Snowball, Do you mean the rate of change of process values? If you use Advanced Process Library (APL) Monitoring blocks, for example, MonAnL FB1845 , most of them has an output "PV_Grad", display the gradient of the PV in relative to time. Do check it out see whether if it is the function you want? Or you mean the ramping limit? APL RateLim FB1882 can provide a ramp up or ramp down function. Hope it helps. |

Dear mesnowball, I dont have this version with me. Nevermind, let me guide you through. 1. In the CFC Editor 2. At the Catalog (Ctrl+K to Open) 3. Select Libraries (where you can see Blocks | Charts | Libraries at the Left Corner) 4. Select PCS 7 AP Library V80 5. Select Blocks+Template\Blocks 6. Select Operate Blue Folder 7. Click on the OpAnL or the other block you want, Press F1 to open the Help files of the blocks. Siemens has a very good description in the helpfiles for APL. If it is not enough, PCS 7 Advanced Process Library V8.0 |
