RCV_341 FBExample CP41 Module as Modbus Master PCS7 VR7.1. I am trying to understand the on-line helps for the RCV_341 working in a CFC. I did look at the thread: How do you configure a Modbus slave using the "RCV_341" (FB 121) PCS 7 block? but that exampleis for a Modbus Slave. I need an example or explanation for the on-line help procedure. I'm following the procedure until my QUESTIONS BELOW IN CAPITAL LETTERS UNDERLINED. Can anyone clarify? Procedure · Insert the RCV_341 block into your CFC chart. · Set the logical base address of the CP 341 module at the LADDR block input. · Define the input buffer for user data in a block (referred to as RCV_DATA in the following). · Install RCV_DATA downstream of the RCV_341 block in the same cyclic OB.WHERE AND HOW TO I INSTALL THIS INPUT BUFFER???? IS THIS A FUNCTION BLOCK??? IF SO, HOW DO I INSTALL THIS DOWNSTREAM???The input buffer definition can be a simple variable or an array of variables. All S7 data types except ANY are permitted in the variable definitions. · Apply the input buffer to the output of the RCV_DATA block. WHICH NUB IS THE OUTPUT FOR THE RCV_DATA BLOCK????? · Interconnect this output with the R_DATA input of the RCV_341 block. · To control and evaluate received data, define the following I/Os at the RCV_DATA block and interconnect them with the corresponding I/O of the RCV_341 block: |

The data transfer is define in to the CP parameterization. in that you have to define the Which Function code you are using to transfer, In above mention Link it was define which Function code Address on Modbus Side, so all the Data which you have to transfer are define in to the CP Parameterization only.. or you can used the FB80 also it is easy to used the FB80 from Example Progarm, When you insatlled the Modbus Slave Setup. in PCS7 V7.1 RCV_341 Block is not generating any Module Drivers |
