So I'm doing a project where I have to read power grid frequency (50 Hz) Using IoT 2040. I've stepped down the mains voltage (230Vac) to 9Vac which an inputting to the IoT, then use zero crossing technique to get the period of the incoming signal hence the frequency. the plan is to use the Arduino sketch for calculations and publish the results to the MQTT broker and use node read to display the frequency deviation from 50 Hz and to also store the data. My question is it possible to get a resolution of 0.01Hz and what would be the accuracy. Can the data transmission happen fast enough to maintain high accuracy. can the IOT 2040 provide such a sampling speed? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
