Hello ameic, you should always save the diagnostic buffer of both CPUs. The diagnostic buffer is the only way to investigate why the CPU goes to STOP. Anyhow, if both CPUs are working without the memory cards then the reason might be one of the following: 1- Different memory cards I know they were working before replacing battery. Just double check the part number and the version of both memory cards. 2- Different user programs. Make sure you download the exact user program to both memory cards. Perform memory reset on both CPUs and try to run both of them. 3- An open VAT or any online window (i.e. an open PG connection) while switching both CPUs to redundant mode (i.e. during linkup and update mode). You should close any online window (LAD editor, VAT, HW online, ..etc.) before you switch both CPUs to redundant mode. Regarding how to use the PG to download to memory card, Please check this FAQ How can you write the program to the FLASH Memory Card when using a SIMATIC S7-400 CPU?Best regards, H-H |
