Dear Mohammed, Did you measured the value forced to AI channel when you inject the 20 mA? Please open a VAT and tell us what is the count value @ injecting the 20mA? How do you normalise the AI count value? Do you use FC105 (SCALE)? |

check the count value as per Ayman , the count value must be overflowing above 27468 counts. also check if the channel congiguration is 4-20mA or 0-20 mA regards Ashutosh |

Hello, HEX 6C02 = DEC 27650 20mA should count only 27648 So your count value is overflow because your injected current is 20.0014467. Could you please tell me part number of your module. And also check settings in HW config. if you enable diagnostic interupt for this module. Hope this helps.

Dear Mohamed, Raw Count W#16#6C02 Means The Raw count is 27650 due to this u r getting the Error in the Scada. Could u Please Specify the type no of Modules.(MLFP N o) why Because some Modules Having the Specal Hardware for setting the mode. There are so many factors for Happen this. 1. Earthing Problem 2. Calibrator Current is more than 20 MA. 3. Configuration of the AI module.(2wire or 4 wire) Try to calib from AO Module. Connect AO Module Output to the AI Module Then Force the 27648 to the AO Module. I Hope this will give Proper Reading. Try this & replay to us. Regards, Avinashkrishna Bhimavarapu |

Hello, Please have a look on attached pic. Increase the upper limit as per the picture. By the way, Do you have OB40 within your SW? |

There's a diiference between mA reading of your Fluke clamp meter (19.93mA) & what your AI sense (20.001) which is equivalent to 27650 counts. In any case, If value of AI exceeded 27648, then it's exceeded 20mA, So it's Overflow. |

On the module itself, do you see the red LED lighted?? if yes then it's an overrange, but I didn't think that injecting more than 20mA will give a result of zero. Did you check the jumper position on D (on the side of the module?

Result 0 is only on the HMI or SCADA But actually it gives him 27650 Counts So, it seems that he will check his SW. First he will check to increase high limit. |

If it is zero on HMI then its must have been zero on the output from FC105 also, so he should check that also. Again, I'm not totally sure if overrage causes FC105 to output zero

No it shouldn't Because here is the equation of FC105
I can not judge why zero is appear on HMI coz I do not have the SW. May be that output (FC 105 Out) is repeated in software and another network write zero in it. I think that Mohammed should monitor it and also use cross reference to search the OUT of FC105. But first we would like the SF led of AI to be off. Hope this helps.

Hello, I guess during overflow he has moved zero value in logic separately hence the value on hmi is showing zero. But i dont think there is any problem with module or channels. |

But we cannot guess, we have to make sure. He should post his program here for analysis. |

Check your AI card with AO. . Connect your AO (4-20 ma) card pins to AI pins. . Force AO with specific count (Must try Max. Count 27648) and check your AI. . If count matches, then your AI card is ok. . |
