Resource DLLs missing when running Automation License Manager

Hi!

i had same error. Could you send me link to download ALM of V12? (just ALM) I cant find on google ^^

i tried of downloading full V12 and installing ALM from there.

 It's against their disclaimer, apparently. ;-)

But when you have downloaded V12 and extracted it (do NOT run the V12 installer), you will find ALM in a folder (<Extraction-folder>/STEP7_Prof_V12/InstData/ALM32_64/Media/ALMXX/Setup.exe).

Install it from there. Worked for me. :-)

The new version was released. ALM V5_3_SP3_Upd1

this is my first touch with Siemens.

and I had problem at the beginning with instalation of Automation License Manager on windows 10 verze 1607.

So I read what is in this forum theme and last text help me. ALM verze 5.3 working with Windows 10 after anniversary update.

and why you dont download the OLD ALM?

TIA V11 and V12 available for Download so you can download the package and extract the older ALM Setup.

Same problem here:

solved it by manualy instaling ALM V5.3+SP3+Update1.

and it works!

The ALM was the latest version found on the website of siemens

I've been trying to install and activate STEP 7 under Windows 10 for quite some time now. I can't get Automation License Manager to work, though.

It installs succesfully, both the version with the installation disc and the updated version from the website, but whenever I run the program, an error pops up saying:

"Resource DLLs missing. Please reinstall the Automation License Manager!"

I've reinstalled many times and tried other various things to no avail. I've come across a list of .dlls installed by ALM, where this line is included,:

• mssoapr3.dll (by Microsoft)- Microsoft Soap (Microsoft Soap Resource DLL 3.0)

and it is pretty much the only place "Resource DLL" is mentioned with the program on the www.
