Refer my second last post, if C axis refers with short path, it means parameter setting is correct. 2. In such case, motor has absolute encoder & if application requires C axis to resume at 0 degree only & then start new program, in such case, C axis will rotate in opposite direction & will reach to 0 degree (e.g. if has run + or - 2200 degree then will rotate in opposite & return to 0 degree) HTH P.S. - Any other forum member/expert opinion/expert comments on this issue are most welcome.

Does system needs to display +360 deg for 1 RPM (CW), + 720 deg for 2 ROM (in CW direction), 1080 deg for 3 RPM (in CW direction), -180 deg for 1/2 RPM (in CCW) etc. etc.? or display only between 0 to 360 deg only i.e. after 359.999 deg it should display 0 deg? 3. Have you activated or want to limit direction or rotational speed/RPM of C axis? So after almost a year I'm going back to my client to try and fix this issue (my client is in another country) So when I get there I will do the tests that you asked but all I need is for the axis to display from 0 to 360 and then back to 0. It is on a rotary table that has fiscal markings from 0 to 359.

Does C axis active encoder is of motor or has external encoder directly coupled to C axis? Please check. It is using the encoder of the motor One more point I suggest you to check as below. (here I presume C axis MD 30455 is set to 4) Yes the parameter is 4H 1. Apply command & rotate C axis say from 0 deg to +170 deg (C+170 F1000). Stop their & then G90 C0 F1000. At this command check how C axis returns to 0 deg i.e. in opposite direction when it rotates to +170. I did this test and it moved in the opposite direction, 0 to +170 then back to 0 in the opposite direction 2. Apply command C+220 F1000 & check direction of rotation. Then after C reaches at +220 deg, apply C0 F1000 & see in which direction C rotates to reach at 0 deg. The same thing happens as before it moves + 220 then -220 to 0 1. What is the application of C axis? It is a rotary table that has to move at the same speed (rotation) as another axis that I have (B axis) It moves 2000° then finishes but after that I have to return the rotary axis to 0 2. Does system needs to display +360 deg for 1 RPM (CW), + 720 deg for 2 ROM (in CW direction), 1080 deg for 3 RPM (in CW direction), -180 deg for 1/2 RPM (in CCW) etc. etc.? or display only between 0 to 360 deg only i.e. after 359.999 deg it should display 0 deg? The display goes from 0 to 360 then back to 0 but when I program a C0 is has to unwind the 2000° that is has previously moved 3. No , the rotary axis has no rotation limit nor does the direction matter what I need is that after it moves +2000° that it moves back to 0 without having to move -2000

Please apply G90 instrunction (absolute dimention) only for C axis when C axis is required to bought to 0. Please put this single instrunction in separate block & keep other G related instrunctions as it is & check.

But a quick question, did you change the MD30310=1? that making C axis Modulo Jackcaress Sorry I sent you the wrong photo here is the C axis PISCEAN 2010 Hello, The attached snap looks like to be of X axis (AX1:MX1/SERVO_3.3:2)) also MD 30300 value is 0 i.e. it is linear axis. Please attach snap shot of C axis (press vertical AXIS +) so that next axis screen page will be displayed, in your case, assuming 3rd axis as C axis,,top right side display will be AX3:MX3/SERVO_3.3.4. This page will be of C axis. Attach the snap of same page. HTH

G90 instrunction will not work correctly with another axis if it is applied in same block. What surprises me is, MD30320 = 1 DISPLAY IS MODULO - position display of rotary/spindle axis is defined as Modulo 360 degrees, then why it displays absolute position? (refer video attached by you) BTW please change MD30310 = 1 & check. P.S. - Once again I read all posts, in one post you mentioned B & C axis rotates at same speed. Does these both axes are synchronised? Can you attach MD back up file here.
