Hi!

I have installed the WinCC Runtime Professional SP1 up5. When I open a existing project, create with the same version and  start a simulation one error appear: Compilation not possible: The WinCC SQL instance is either not running or not available.

What can I do to solve this problem?

The problem still being. I tried to start the service but I don't have any possibilities to start it manually. I checked , as you told me, that the service are working correctly but one of them are sttoped: SQL server agent. I can't set it on.

Hi,

the project was created in another system after it was archive and sent to me, I retrieved it. Versions of the sofware are the same in both systems. 

When I created a new project the same error appears.

the SQL Service WINCC is runnig, the problem is in the second one. The second service is sttoped.

I have same problem as above - so ",Compilation not possible. The "WinCC" SQL instance is either not running or not available".

I have checked that SQL Server is running (check attached files), and that my user is a part of usergroup Siemens TIA Engineer, also reboot the system twice... without any reaction...

Any other ideas?

My software version is: WinCC Professional Version V14 SP1 Update 5
