YES!!!thanks, I also saw.. The current reduction from the rated value for individual Smart Line Modules in a parallel connection is 7.5 %. therefore in our case 1400+1400=2800*7,5%= 210kW 2800-210=2590 kW BUT Starter show 2660kW!!! What means 2660/2800 reduction 5% has a misunderstanding 5% or 7.5%. |

Hello It is 7.5% for BLM and SLM (no current compensation) 5% if module operate with current compensation. You can find entry Page 512 in Function Manual. or you can find entry Page 198 in Engineering Manual As per Function Manual A slight reduction of the rated current must be considered for parallel connection of power units. The reduction of the rated current (derating) of a power unit for parallel connection is: ● 7.5% for parallel connections of SINAMICS S120 Basic Line Modules and SINAMICS S120 Smart Line Modules when neither module is equipped with a current compensation control. ● 5.0% for parallel connections of SINAMICS S120 Active Line Modules and SINAMICS S120 Motor Modules when each module operates with a current compensation control. As per Enginnering Manual slight current reduction of a few per cent below the rated
current must be taken into account when parallel connections of power units are configured.
The current reduction from the rated value of the individual modules is as follows:
· 7.5 % for parallel connections of S120 Basic Line Modules and S120 Smart Line Modules because the
modules are not equipped with an electronic current sharing control
· 5.0 % for parallel connections of S120 Active Line Modules and S120 Motor Modules because the
modules are equipped with an electronic current sharing control. |
