Hello, Thank you sir. to get more precision about that. the servodriver is 9300 from lenze http://src.lenze.com/lenze-bibliothek/en/B1%20-%20Servo%20Technology/B11%20-%20Servo%20inverter_9300/SHB_9300_Servo_inverters_0,37-75kW_v5-2_EN.pdf also the profibus module is EMF2133IB http://src.lenze.com/lenze-bibliothek/en/C1%20-%20Industrial%20Communication/C14a%20-%20PROFIBUS/MA_EMF2133IB_PROFIBUS-DP_v6-1_DE_EN_FR.pdf also the servodriver inculde free configurable digitals outputs. so, i can use that to convert resolver's signal and get the position into S7-1200. in this case can i use an external counter instead of using the internal counter to get position. coz in the example below https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&lang=en&objid=38391227&caller=view they speak about a synchronisation process between PLC & driver. no real feedback The point is to get 1mm of precision regarding the mechanical system I'm new to profibus, don't know how to transfer data?, How to proceed with GSD configuration. also i think profinet connection will be more suitable for ctrl driver. i even don't know if the servodriver include closeloop ctrl. how to correct target or adapt the setpoint from PLC ? 1st time to deal with this kind of tough problem. and appreciate any help Best regards |

First of all you should keep in mind that what you mean by PWM is actualy PTO (pulse train output). You can't control servo with +/-10V, because analog outputs are to slow and all motion functions on S7-1200 use PTO. PTO pulses can use 24V high speed outputs or 5V outputs by using add on signal board 5V. Lenze 9300 is capabale to be driven with PTO (like master/slave, electric shaft) on its inputs X9 asI read from manual above, but it needs quadrature pulses, so you need a converter from HTL (or TTL if 5V board is used) to RS-422. My Engineer High level tool does not have an option to configure 9300 series, and I almost forgot how it was with GlobalDrivesoftware, but you should check if 9300 has its own trajectory planner built in ( or you can choose trapezoidal profile or S-shaped profile for position command) and if so you can use a profibus comm to set position. 9300 is older than 9400, but I do believe that all simple positoning worked on 9300, too. 9400 can work camming, positioning, plc, and more and more. Precision on 9300 shouldnt bein question. Ask your Lenze dealer, they helped me a lot with some examples - ready made configurations for servo drive and function blocks for s7-300/400 that can be asily converted to s7-1200 as there are just move insructions and profibus comm fcs. I have checked in software, I can't insert a profibus module on StateLine it has a CAN device only and MM110 module is supported only. Looking at signal flow I would say that is possible to position the drive. |

Hello, 1st Thank you. I think using 9400 servodriver will much better. But i have another idea to use the positioning modue 254-1BA00. in this case i can use 214-2BT10 equipped with an ethernet connection. so, i could connect my S7-1200 CPU for example to send table of profile & get status check the link below chapter 6 http://www.vipa.com/uploads/tx_sbdownloader/HB97E_FM_12-04.pdf i thinkvipa can bethe economic and workingsoluttion Best regards |

Hello, please check this doc: http://src.lenze.com/lenze-bibliothek/en/B1%20-%20Servo%20Technology/B12%20-%20L-force%20ServoDrives%209400/B121%20-%20Parameter%20setting/SW_E94AxHExxxx_TA_Table_positioning_v1-2_EN.pdf They're speaking about table positioning. so, i can send table profiles from PLC to servodriver and start positioning according to it. is there any kind of limit with tables for example number of positions? can i also save many tables on 9400 servodriver side. so, to do not upload profilesevery time? is it possible to set transfer using profibus or profinet? this functionnality is it alreadyincluded in 9400 servodriver highline with M220 memory module? |
