Hi. Have you connected the encoder to the signal board and tested it yet? It might be that the encoder you have is a push-pull type, which means that you will have a solid voltage states for both ON and OFF. In this case it should not matter too much for you. If you have a floating "off" and a 5V "on" at your encoder, consider adding a pull down resistor. See a picture here: [LINK] Please return and tell us if this helped. w |
