Sir, I am using CPU 1214C having MLFCB no. 6ES7 214 - 1AG04-0XB0. Need commissioning support for the following. In the Onboard integrated output Q 0.0 and Q0.1 Is assigned for the Pulse and direction output in the technology objects the function MC-Power, MC-Reset, MC-Jog etc for the third party servo drive. The signal to that device will be via wired. When I executed the Programme using MC-Power ( Servo on enable) and then MC- Jog function to Fwd forced via watch table and the velocity is given. But the problem was there is no response on the drive. kindly advice whether the wiring for the pulse train output and problem execution if any to check the pulse output is alive or not. Application: Pick and place the bearing component using Handling unit. To move left and right movement with different position will work using servo drive ( SMC Electric Servo actuator )and Up and down movement will work using pneumatic cylinder. Hi! One solution would be to use high speed optocouplers between the PLC and the drive. E.g. like this one (100kHz): https://www.phoenixcontact.com/online/portal/us?urile=pxc-oc-itemdetail:pid=2902970 Or a converter: (however, this may be too slow for you at 15kHz) https://www.phoenixcontact.com/online/portal/us?uri=pxc-oc-itemdetail:pid=2964319&library=usen&tab=1 P.S. as I mentioned before, if you have fixed positions, you can use a position table in the drive and normal DO at the PLC - then there's no need for PTO and source to sink interface. |
