Dear Expert, 

I need to set timer value from HMI. i have Microwin soft and S7-200 PLC.  I have also siemens HMI. But for timer value I need use a Timer in S7-200 programm that will work as  a variable timer. So, Timer data will set from HMI.  I need to set hours and minute from HMI. Like 1 hours 10 mintues. 

Which Timer and how to perform this?  If anyone have demo program please share it.

at the moment I don't have samples but I can suggest this:

using 100ms timer (e.g. t37-T63) you can have max 54hour timer.

In HMI put following tags :

-a word for hour (VWx limit 0-53)

-a word for minute (VWy limit 0-59).

Then in plc calculate .

VWz=10*((VWx*3600)+(VWy*60))

and use VWz to set timer.

Dear boss, please tell me the Exact Math function for VWx...

As I have put them in floating math but program is red that means it's not perfect. 

Please tell me which Math function I should use VWx?

try to use MUL_I and ADD_I.

MUL_R is for floating point and you don't need this also because TON require INT in PT.

using INT variable you have to use word addressing (16 bit) e.g. :

VW2 * 3600 -->VW6

VW4 * 60 --> VW8

VW6+VW8 -->VW10

VW10 used for PT.

Take a look at online help cap2 addressing.
