I want to configure a redundant S7-300 system, using SWR(Software Redundancy) concept. Furthermore, I need to apply redundancy in I/O Level. Because of safety requirements, CPU and I/O Modules should be fail safe. (for example CPU 315F-2DP and DI/DO 326) Now, which option of attached file is applicable? (In option 1, I/O modules are placed in CPU rack and in Option 2 ET200M I/O is used) Does any one have better suggestion? In each case, how should I construct I/O redundancy? Hello mazdak you will be asking for trouble trying to implement I/O redundancy nevermindSafety in a Software Redundant System (redundant I/O's - be they standardor Safety I/O's - are NOTsupported by SWR).
