Hello Vijayan.R In order to keep a data block, marker, timer or counter remanent in an IM151 CPU, you must define the memory areas in the CPU properties in the hardware configuration. Hello vijayan; In a S7-400 CPU, all DBs are retentive, if program memory is backed-up by battery power: Retentivity behavior of S7-400 CPUs and the CPU 318-2 CPUs https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/23596519 However, and that is often irritating, the data that is retained in a DB are the Declaration values (those that are entered at the creation of the DB), not the Actual values (those that are input during programming execution). So in case of a Power Off or Warm Restart, you may find your self with the original setpoints in your DBs, not the present values you are expecting.
