Hi BellLogo, i think your project can not solve with LOGO!, because the AQ2 module (witch you can by now) is only build to output 0 to 10 V, butnot mA. Siemenswill build a new one with volt and mA output, but i do not know the time... All circuits with use a multiplexer can only use with LOGO! modules series 0BA5 and 0BA6! If available a new AQ2 with mA, then you need one amplifiverto translate your 0,5 V..4,0 V input to a 4..20 mA output: 0,5 V means 50 LOGO! units, 4 V means400 LOGO! units, 4 mA means 200LOGO! units and 20mA means 1000LOGO! units --> GAIN = 2,28 and OFFSET = 86 The or one multiplexer directbefore the output should be inclouded to save the output and cut the analoge values to the range 0..1000 LOGO! units! Hello Betel, Thanks for your quick reply. I mean with expansion module 6ED1 055-1MM00-0BA1 (AM2 AQ) or this link. In the datasheet it say it had 4-20mA output. But i have here a AM2 AQ module with me (see photo attachment) and it had NO 4-20mA output. Do you have any explanation or maybe has AM2 4-20mA output? I don't have AM2, but i have also a AM2 PT100 and this has no 4-20mA output. I have also checked my Logo supplier site and it say also that AM2 have 4-20mA output. See here and here (there are different price for AM2, weird?) Maybe is this already 7th generation Logo? Hi BellLogo, sorry, but my infos at my last answer to you ar right. Look at the SIEMENS support page HERE- ther are the correct infos, but at some other Siemens product pages ther are wrong (or mixt) infos!? The old AM2 AQ module with the number 6ED1 055-1MM00-0BA0 can buy now, but it has only 0..10 V outputs The future AM2 AQ module with the number 6ED1 055-1MM00-0BA1 can´t by now (but perhaps in the summer of 2009?), but it has 0..10 V and 0(4)..20 mA outputs Best regards Betel |

Hello Betel, I have already able to buy the last AM2 AQ 6ED1 055-1MM00-0BA1, i have here with me, see attachment photo. Siemens Belgium told me it exists already for a while. My program is also ready and tested, tanks for your assistance. I have 2 versions, 1 with 0-20mA and 1 with 4-20mA output It someone is interest in my program, it is in the attachment. I have some question. 1. Is it correct that input I7 and I8 correspond with AI1 and AI2, input I1 and I2 correspond with AI3 and AI3 in LOGO!Soft,independent from the parameter settings 2 or 4AIs (Menu > File > Properties > Parameter Tab). is this correct? 2. Do Logo support only 2 analog output? 3. What is the function of "Protection Active" in functions block settings screen? 4. Hi BellLogo, here my short answers: to 1: Yes, that is this correct. to 2: Yes, Logo supports only 2 analog outputs. to 3: If the LOGO! is in the RUN modus (circuit works), then it is possible to change the parameters of function blocks: Handbook chapter 5..: " Parameter assignment refers to the configuration of the block parameters. You can set delay times for time functions, the switching times of timers, counter threshold values, the monitoring interval of an hours counter, the on and off thresholds of the trigger, and more. You can configure the parameters • In programming mode • In parameter assignment modeIn programming mode, the author of the circuit program also sets the parameters Parameter assignment mode allows the editing of parameters without having to modify the circuit program. This feature is available so that you can edit parameters without having to change to programming mode. The advantage: The circuit program remains protected, but can be adapted by the user to meet specific requirements. Selecting parameter assignment mode Press ESC to change from RUN to parameter assignment mode: To select a parameter: 1. On the parameter assignment menu, select ’Set Param’, use cursor-keys to select a block-number...." |
