Hello Pigro, yes, mine was just a "funny" thing because, as being italian like you, I joked on the term "Pigro". Anyway it was just to tell you that we performed LOT of tests, using various OS guests and always making things "clean" , in order to have a fast response from the VM. But we failed. But after we won, because we realized that using VMWare (and not Virtualbox), the timings are amazingly reduced, moreor less by one half. And of course 2.15 minutes more or less to open a project starting from opening the VM are acceptable. I don't know why but it really seems that for some reasons, VMWare has a dramatic increase of performances respect Virtualbox, expecially for the WIn10 (Guest) and TIA 15.1. For the TIA 13.1 the differences are unnoticeable. But everything now is fine, at least we are "up to date" with this 15.1. THe funny thing is that when you open Scout for the first time it takes some seconds (30-35) , if you close Scout (5.3 TIA) and you reopen it, it needs more or less 2 seconds and this is nice. So ... Let's enjoy the 15.1. But anyway (just to go back to the topic) the bug of the MCC editor is well known to Siemens (we asked also to the Hot service) and the procedure of the Master (ChristophD) is correct : install Step7 5.6 and Scout Stand Alone. Of course this is a bug that I hope that Siemens will fix (this bug did not exists in 15.0 or 13.0 or 13.1). Regards, Davinator |
