I'm working in a project (step7 v5.5+ sp3) where I have a cu305. I have opened the commisiong and SCOUT gives me the following error, "The project is write-protected or is already being used by another process on a different computer." What's the problem?

probably you are trying to open it in a network location and not in the local computer ?

Did you open it by disarchiving it (and saving it in the S7proj folder ?

Maybe you opened it in read only mode after, for example, an upgrade of scout version ?

Did you make any kind of modification of the folders of the project ?

I have also had problems in opening projects that were decompressed in a folder in Desktop (Win 7 64 bit pro), so I had to mode them in the standard s7proj folder.

Or it's just maybe a fool of Scout and a good restart of computer might work.
