Not possible with TP1900, not possible with TP2200, not possible with any TP as well.

I use my VMware machine.

In your VMware you can select a very high resolution.

Then i connect With Sm@rtServer and take over the screen with my PC.

Then i use the VM to create screenshots.

For anyone else interested in this topic:

I have a Siemens TP2200 panel and needed screenshots of the active screens from the actual machine.

Problems:

• TP2200 Runs Windows CE 8.0. There are a handful of utilities that are designed to take a screenshot in the Windows CE environments. Do not bother searching for them or trying them if your panel's version of Windows CE is above version 6.0. They WILL NOT work.
• I have also attempted to use several command line tools to take a screenshot (using a batch file to run some short scripts, etc.). The version of Windows CE running on the TP panels does not contain the framework necessary to run these tools. Do not bother trying them.
• It is not possible to "screenshot" with the "print screen" key using a keyboard connected to the panel. The version of Windows CE running on the TP panels does not include this built-in screenshot utility.

Solution:

• Create a remote connection to the panel using Siemens WinCC Sm@rtServer. (Link)
• On your programming PC, download a screenshot utility such as Greenshot. (Link)
  • I am using Greenshot, because this utility has the capability to "Screenshot last region". This makes it possible to select the region I would like to capture once with the (Print Screen) key and then capture the exact same region again with the (Shift + Print Screen) key combination.
  • This makes it possible to quickly and easily capture each HMI screen without having to manually select the HMI region every time I take a screenshot.

• In order to eliminate scroll bars, the monitor you are using to view the HMI via Sm@rtServer must have a screen resolution equal to or greater than the HMI panel. If the screen resolution of your viewing monitor is only equal to that of the HMI panel, then your viewing monitor's true pixel count (width and height) must be greater than that of the HMI panel.
• Fortunately for me, I am using a laptop (Dell XPS 15) with a screen resolution much greater than the TP2200 panel. This enables me to view the entire HMI panel via the Sm@rtServer window with no scroll bars.
• The screenshots I take on my viewing monitor are saved with the resolution of my viewing monitor. I can then scale these images as-needed to fit into project documentation.
