Hi Raphael, Are you using PCS7 Cemat? If so, then yes, you should use OB1 because of the block design. If not, please DO NOT use OB1 in ordinary PCS7. OB1 has the disadvantage that the runtime is not constant. If the PLC needs to work harder, it may increase the cycle time of OB1 up to a maximum of 6000ms (default PCS7). So, therefore, you must use interrupt OB3x. Interrupt OB's have the advantage that the cycle time is always consistent. For example OB32 can have a cycle time of 1sec., so all blocks in OB32 are executed within 1 second. APL blocks are designed for interrupt OB's. It may be that they do not function properly when used in OB1. However to answer your question: 1. Go to CFC 2. Open a chart and double click on the light green block on the right topside of the block. Some figures are shown for example 1/32 which means runtime group 1 at position 32. 3. The runtime editor is opened. You can cut and paste the block to another OB, in your case OB1. 4. After that, return to CFC (press F5 to refresh) and see the result. 5. Right click the block and select: Predecessor for Insertion Position. Select OB1 (sometimes OB100 is listed as well and now all new inserted blocks are inserted in OB1. |
