Hi Bhairava, You can do the following.. For step S5, you configure in Initialization or Processing-> OPTIPNO = xxx. xxx stands for an operator text which you can configure in the characteristics editor. What happens is that on the SFC instance, the operator text is shown. A "O" button is also displayed next to the text. When the operator presses on the "O", the SFC will transition to the next step. For the logic that you describe, you need to set transition condition: "OPTIPNO = 0" in S5->S7. So when the "O" is pressed, OPTIPO signal goes to "0" and this is the operator transition condition. For the other condition, you don't have to use OPTIPNO. What you also need to do is that when the SFC goes from S5 to S6, you need to set OPTIPNO = 0 in S6. Otherwise the operator text is still displayed when it goes to S6 through process conditions.

Hi, See attachment Make sure you only set OPTIPNO to a value > 0 in S5, do not make it 0 again. This is done by pressing the O button. In the transition you check if OPTIPNO = 0. |

You can set OPTIPNO = 0 transition condition for both transitions. In the operator transition, you don't have to wait for the process conditions. In the process conditions if you include OPTIPNO=0, then the process conditions must be enabled + operator confirmation in order to go to the next step |

Hi, No, you can only set one operator text in a step. I created a solution for this: I set an operator text in a step, one transition will have condition: OPTIPNO=0 and another transition will have condition: PP_Overruled = 1. PP_Overruled is a parameter. In case the operator does not want to accept the O button (in my case of setting CM to automode automatically, when the button is pressed), he can go to the parameter screen in the SFC instance and change the parameter from FALSE to TRUE. This way, the operator accepts that CM is not set to automode automatically. Not ideally situation, but it's working... |

Hi, That sounds like a solution also. You set SCT for one step and SCT+TAC for another? Thanks for sharing. |
