Sir Thanks for ur reply 1. As per procedure, v kept S3 in 1 and switched ON, then v got 6, +5V Green and SF Red got ON, put back S3 to 0 2. On the other side, PR(green), PS(Red),PF(Red) and PFO(Orange) - all 4 keep blinking, due to this v r unable to follow steps for PLC General Reset 3. As informed before, there was no 24V supply to MCP, hence connected 24V seperately, all LEDs on MCP keep blinking due to communication failure between MCP and CCU Kindly advice Best Regards, M. Hello, One doubt. Data back up which you are trying to restore is of which type? Is it series start up or arc files? Please check. |

Hello, 120008 Control unit switchover, PLC timeout: %1 Parameters: %1 = -- Definitions: 001: MMC would like to go offline from this NCU. MMC has made the offline request in the online PLCand is waiting for the positive / negative acknowledgement from the PLC. 002: MMC would like to go online to this NCU. MMC has called the target PLC and is waiting for the release to go online. 003: MMC has requested the active operating mode and is waiting for acknowledgement from the PLC. Remedy: Check whether the switchover blocks are loaded and started in the online PLC Ensure you have cleared your NC and PLC properly....try doing it again If you have Simatic Step7 software you can clear your plc from this and check too.... goto Plc> diagnosis > Clear and Reset select this your PLC is going to be cleared Check it out and revert back... Sir Thanks for continious support a) We feel that as all LEDs on MCP keep blinking, may be due to that PLC was not going ONLINE hence we taken out cable from PCU on MPI port of CCU and connected MPI directly then it went ONLINE then did upload to PG. Opened blocks then PLC - Diagnossi/Settings- Clear/Reset, PLC Goes to STOP state to clear then we go to operating modes, do warm restart then PLC comes to RUN mode When v did upload to PG, blocks contained only System Data, FB15 and DB1 - can v say that PLC got completely reset with this ????? Pl confirm b) At the moment, S7300 CPU has no SF (System Fault) rather just green LED for +5V is ON, on CCU, left hand side, Green LED for +5V, SF (Sinumerik Ready) RED and CB (orange) is blinking, on right side only Green LED for PR (PLC Run) is ON - Please confirm if CCU is healthy and NC,PLC got erased or not with this indication c) we still keep getting error 120008 Operator Units Switchover PLC Timeout 1010 - sir is it due to faulty MCP ????? Kindly advice Regards, M. Rishikesh |

Hello, From the so far post, I summaries the points as below. 1. It seems that NC, PLC data is not geting clear correctly. 2. As suggested by Mr. Prakash (Ekalavya), have you checked the cards holding tightness, loose connection of data cables etc. 3. By chance at any time, have you or any other person has unpluged/pluged PCMCIA card on module? I would like to suggest you to contact Siemens service department. |

Dear Sirs (M/s PISCEAN 2010, Prakash) We could fix the problem by reading in old NC and PLC archieve (Service - Data In - NC Card - Start), although there is no card plugged on to CCU, may be from EPROM of CCU, v could get these archieve Now MCP is communicating and we could switch ON the control, Hydraulics etc Actually SF Red LED was confusing us as it was ON and it is still ON, in another 810D controller, this SF is OFF Then we also got error 2001 : PLC has not started up Thanks to you all sirs for such a tremendous and continious technical support Best Regards, M. Hello, Your welcome for comments... But i still suggest you can go to Simatic Manager open it and connect it.....go to Diagnostic /setting > Module information > Diagnostic buffer you can see why the PLC has gone to Stop mode...Check here.. Regards, Prakash |
