masobhy86 Posts: 24 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have Siemens K-TP178 Micro HMI (6AV6 640-0DA11-0AX0) and I need to upload its Project to make abackup and restore it on a new one. I need to know what is software can I use (Now I use WinCCFlexible 2005) and what is cable should be used? Thanks in advance

If I use Prosave tool to make the backup from K-TP178 Micro and replace this HMI with otherTP177 Micro Panel Can Irestore the backup on TP Micro Panel? If I want to transfere the project with WinCC Flex 2005 SP1what are the requirements? Thanks in advance.

Sandman Platinum Member Joined: 4/29/2010 Last visit: 8/12/2024 Posts: 1557 Rating: (161)	No this isn`t possible, if you do a backup from a TP178micro you can just restore it to a TP178micro (the backup gets a stamp for the device). The requirements are that you need a ASIA version of flexible 2005, all other needed information can be found in the FAQ.
