I'm a student in a tecnichal university and few days ago when i trying to download wincc v15 trial my friend told me students can download and using the program for free a few years. I'm searched but didn't find any information about that.

Is it true?

This is very possible. But every region in the world has different rules / requirements. It would be best for you to come in contact with a local representative. There would probably be a registration process you need to do.

Just know that Siemens also sells the CAD software 'Solid Edge'. The procedures for registering as a student for this package is more published in public space. I hope your friend did not think of this 3D CAD software.

PS: The 2D CAD version is for free for everyone.

I have the opinion that he, as a student, should make a research by his own.  That's the best way to learn something, instead of get a finished solution. Furthermore that's the job of a Student: read, learn, research, etc.

Addiotional I think that he maybe need the other mentioned trials there, too. So I don't want to specify.

Thank you for the feedback. This answer varies from region to region. Short term licenses should be possible.

In some cases Siemens hosts competitions between learning institutions. For these competitions, the hardware and software is provided. Mentors from outside companies sometimes link in with institutes to help students with reaching their goals. It is brilliant exposure, even if it is not part of formal credits to the course.

Perhaps your region has this. Perhaps you wish to start this tradition. Other companies like Schneider Electric, Rockwell, Festo and Phoenix Contact might be interested in such sponsorship instead of or with Siemens.

Ultimately it is convincing the marketing department of the companies that it is worth their while getting students "hooked" on their products.

Sorry I missed the start of this discussion.

Siemens has a special relationship with students and technical training centers, through which they offer certain software and hardware packages, along with tutorials for the same. In the following page you will find among other things a pdf (in various languages) showing the different offers they present, the different licenses they can offer (singe individual license for a specific software, a mixture of single and floating licenses (6 + 20, for example)...

All these packages must be processed through a division called SCE (the link can be found oin the screenshot below) and must be part of an end-user agreement signed between Siemens and the institution which will use them for training their students.

It is not as simple as "I am a student and what is my special price" but it can be a good ressource to explore.

The same site offers a range of tutorials to learn Step 7, PCS 7 and Logo! softwares that are well constructed and should be very useful to any beginner (or anyone who feels they need a refresher) in Siemens Automation products:
