Hello all; Sorry I missed the start of this discussion. Siemens has a special relationship with students and technical training centers, through which they offer certain software and hardware packages, along with tutorials for the same. In the following page you will find among other things a pdf (in various languages) showing the different offers they present, the different licenses they can offer (singe individual license for a specific software, a mixture of single and floating licenses (6 + 20, for example)... https://w3.siemens.com/mcms/sce/en/trainer_packages/Pages/Default.aspx All these packages must be processed through a division called SCE (the link can be found oin the screenshot below) and must be part of an end-user agreement signed between Siemens and the institution which will use them for training their students. It is not as simple as "I am a student and what is my special price" but it can be a good ressource to explore. The same site offers a range of tutorials to learn Step 7, PCS 7 and Logo! softwares that are well constructed and should be very useful to any beginner (or anyone who feels they need a refresher) in Siemens Automation products: https://w3.siemens.com/mcms/sce/en/advanced_training/training_material/Pages/default.aspx Hope this helps, |
