Since you are expecing a sudden slow in operation of the pc, it sounds like your may have logged a large amount of data over time on the system so that it now is slowing down the system. Or it could be that the harddisk itself is damaged/filled so that windows is slow. This sounds to me that you should check the amount of disk space and also check for errors in the Windows event logs. As a start it would be important to rule out any hardware error and also any possibility that you are running out of disk space. It is also important to keep the amount of data to a size that WinCC can handle. Here I am thinking about taglog/alarmlog. See the FAQ: How many single segments can be connected to the SQL server in PCS 7 without impairing performance? Also check of course the cpu usage to see if this is under heavy use.
