bg2492 Posts: 7298 Rating: (2188)	Hello Asad99, the SIMATIC NET SOFTNET-IE S7 Lean License comes with WinCC, and can be used, if you have not more then 8 connections. If you have more then 8 connection, you need a SIMATIC NET SOFTNET-IE S7 (Full) License. If you use WinCC 7.4 SP1, you need to install Simatic Net V14, not V13 (V13 is for WinCC 7.4 wothout SP1) SOFTNET-IE S7 V14 6GK1704-1CW14-0AA0 Regards Georg Berghof

If you have only 4 conntions you should install the "SOFTNET-IE S7 Basic" and the "SOFTNET-IE S7 Lean" (without version), which are comming on the same USB-license-stick as the WinCC RT license. In my License USB I haven't got SOFTNET IE Lean Basic. However I got SIMATIC NET IE SOFTNET S7 Basis Upgrade and SIMATIC NET IE SOFTNET S7 Lean Upgrade

bg2492 Posts: 7298 Rating: (2188)	Hello Asad99, you should have the "Industrial Ethernet SOFTNET-IE S7 Basic" and the "Industrial Ethernet SOFTNET-IE S7 Lean" (without version), which are comming on the same USB-license-stick as the WinCC RT license (original,no Upgrade). Because they are without version, there is no need for upgrading them. If you would have such licenses with version, you need to upgrade them to Simatic Net V14.
