Hello, first of all you need the GSD file for ET200B, because the ET200B is very old and not in delivery with TIA Portal. The GSD file you will find here: PROFIBUS GSD files : ET 200B Check the correct order numbers. Import GSD file in Device view (Menu Options -> Install G..S…D.. file) to get the ET200B shown in HW list under GSD. Add the Device in Network view and connect with DP Port of S7 300. Set addresses and download. Then you can address the inputs and outputs. Copy the data to DB via Load and transfer code and create HMI variables to access the data in DB. |

Now, we understand more clearly on your points, there are many program ways can do this job. I attached one of them for your information. OB1 - > CALL FB1 (DB1..to..DB6 as instance DB for different seats of your rows) ; From PLC scan time point of view, this sample program may not be efficient, because anytime you call this FB wilth different DBs will increase the size of the excuted program on your work RAM, To use this methodology on the big industry environment will increase PLC scan time that's for sure. But I chose a easy one for you to read and start with, this program also can be done by Multiple Instance DBs. but not addressed here. Wire Connection from your buttons to the inputs, you may want to see the ET200B wiring diagram for more info, if you want the Input lights on ET200B is steady on, you may choose the button can be locked up in the postion when you pushed. Anyway, many friends over here would give you more ideas, I just try to throw you away a brick in order to get a gem. Sorry for keep you waiting, this forum had technical issue yesterday, I did try many times post you. Cheers, Slave AttachmentFB1_SEAT_ROUTINE.pdf (275 Downloads) |
