Simens Simoreg K 6RA22 bench Testing without Motor

mmkhan Bronze Member Joined: 9/28/2007 Last visit: 6/22/2019 Posts: 216 Rating: (9)	When i power on the drive without motor then Parameter P00 shows 07.i have connected jumper between 4&5 and 6&7. and jumper between 16&17 drive shows 06 then i enable terminal 18 drive show 02 for short time and F47 appear on screen. can you send me the complete testing procedure of this dc drive on bench. can i test this drive without motor. and what is the remedy of F 47 . In manual it is showing "2 or more thyristor not able to triggered(T I). what is the meaning of T I.

Hello 256, When u power on drive / Poo shows 00 = o7 it means stop signal is activated i.e. terminal 17 open circuit. When you short 4&5 it means ref input = 0V, 6&7 means External set point 2 = 0V, jumper between 16/17 means ON (start) command. Drive displays o6 means terminal 19 or 20 is selected as OFF. Please check P83 or 84 =6. But in your case when you are enbling terminal 18 i.e. controller enble it shows 02 means it is checking thyrister, E39 parameter must be set at 1.F 47 means 2 or more thyrostors not able to triggered. In your case this fault may get displayed as you are checking the drive without motor.Instead follow the following. 1.Connect+10 Vor -10 V to terminal 4, connect 2 nos 100 w or more watt lampload in series & connect to outgoing terminal i.e. DC motor armature terminal. 2. Power ON / start the drive i.e. terminal 16 & 17 as well terminal 16 & 18 short. Check the DC out put voltage at motor armature terminals.The value depends upon your AC input voltage. but it should be maximum. e.g. for 3 phase 380volt itshould be between 400 V DC to 420 V DC. If it is inbetween the range your drive is OK in open loop. Means power section is healthy can be concluded.Rest close loop like speed / current controller can be analysis on load. Hope this may help you. DEEP.

Please tell me the complete parameter setting values.which is used to operate dc drive in open loop mode.i will be very thankful to you.i have a complete manual of this drive. how did you make two page pdf??? if you want to share this procedure that how i can make my own small pdf file from a large pdf file.can you tell me the detail procedure of checking the dc drive without motor in close loop mode.i mean can i check the dc drive by connection 200 watt bulb on armature terminal and on fieldterminal. what is the configuraitonof bulb how much bulb connected in series.this is another goodfor me. i am waiting for your detail response. thanks in advance.

But as the file size is big it is not getting attached. How ever since u have manual, I will not send it. Please refer section 6 "Operating conditions" where in u will find the status of display - - indication. As recomended in maual check parameter P01, P83, P84, P85, P39 & P41. Please follow those. With Acrobat distiller pdf format documents can be editted, splitted. So then one can attach the files as per requirements.Like that from the complete manual I just attached the required documents. Hope u must have got the point. DEEP.

In manual there is no hint to operate dc drive in open loop mode. i am waiting for your reply.

In manual there is no hint to operate dc drive in open loop mode. i am waiting for your reply. Hello, P01 = 100 OK. P39 set = 100 P40 set = 100 P83 set = 0, P84 set = 0. P85 set = 0. Pls check on A2 card X 1:1 & X 1:2 are shorted. i.e. K3 on A2 card should be ON. Also I presume that you have connected 3 phase AC power supply at drive input side (AK1, AK2 & AK3) & 2 nos 100 watt bulbs or lamp in series with each other & connected to drive out put terminal i.e. at AM & KM. With above procedure you should get either out put voltage or any fault msg. Pls check. DEEP.

Hello, Congrats. How much is your AC 3 phase input voltage.? How much DC out put voltage is available at out put terminal.? You have to cross check these values. If those values are Ok then you can say that open loop test is Ok.Say e.g. if your AC 3 phase input voltage is 380 volt, you should get 400-420 DC out put voltage. If you want to check the drive in close loop, you need to connect DC motor, set the parameters accordingly & then conduct trial. Hope this answers to your query. All the best. DEEP.

DEEP.
