Sinamics G120S F30015 Fault

aminecode Regular Member Joined: 1/15/2015 Last visit: 1/28/2021 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi to Every one , i'm having problem with a 37kw sinamics g120s , when it starts it keeps giving me the fault F30015 i searched on the manual and found that is : :" Phase failure motor cable Reaction" causes : 1- "A phase failure in the motor feeder cable was detected " i checked and used another cable and an other motor ,still get the same problem 2- " The motor is correctly connected, but the drive has stalled in V/f control. In this case, a current of 0 A is possibly measured in one phase due to asymmetry of the currents.- increase the ramp-up or ramp-down time (p1120) if the drive has stalled in V/f control ". i increased the ramp up and still getting the same problem 3- " the motor is correctly connected, however the closed-speed control is instable and therefore an oscillating torque is generated- check the speed controller settings " this one i beleive its the cause since i managed to run a smaller motor 30kw , and at very low speed ( 0 to 150 1/mn) i can notice that somehow it runs with only TWO phases only ( oscillating ) and when i get to it full speed i really notice an asymetry in current ( 13A , 9.5A , 10A) however the voltage is the same beteween the three phases . i already tried to reset it several time and run it please help me if this is a HARDAWRE problem or it is a CONFIGURATION problem Thanks to all

aminecode Regular Member Joined: 1/15/2015 Last visit: 1/28/2021 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi , i am that patient but i feel no one is able to help me i foud the following on a siemens docuement : "When switching between induction and synchronous motors, F30015 "Power unit: Phase failure motor cable" can occur by mistake. This fault can occur particularly if the induction motor had a very high slip frequency prior to the switchover. Before switching to the synchronous motor, briefly enable the induction motor without torque. " i could not interpert it Can any one tell if this is my problem listed in the first message if So how could i manage to fix it Thank you All

Gennadiy Posts: 29 Rating: (1)	Dear Aminecode, in my opinion, it could be hardware problem of the VFD (check the internal connections), or the motor problem (check the terminal box). You should take the trends of all indexes of r69 (level 4 parameter, access code required). You will see the problem immediately. About your last quote from a manual, this is not your case, this is probably for application with different motors to be connected to the VFD, and MDS is used to shoose the parameters of particular motor. One idea is to check what is responsible for the fault - when motor sounds like working on two phases, quickly check the output voltage on VFD terminals, if all voltages are available but current doesn't flow through one phase, that means it is motor problem. If no voltage on the output, then it is the VFD problem. You can make F30015 being alarm, or to mask meassage at all, using P2118-2119. Please make a short report after you finda reason of the problem.

aminecode Regular Member Joined: 1/15/2015 Last visit: 1/28/2021 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Thank you for your answer Mr. Gennadiy After i took your test i found that while the motor sounds like turning in two phase : the output voltage is variable from phase to phase i tried the same motor on an other drive and it turned normally as it should with a stable output voltage I beleive it's a hardware problem !!! So does any one knows what should i checkk especially ? ( i've already checked the connections inside and they look just fine ) Thanks for All

akhilesh86 Regular Member Joined: 1/8/2014 Last visit: 7/23/2018 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Dear all i have facing same problem in 22kw/30kw G120 drive power module 250, On CU240S DP Showing fault F0027(W phase missing),when i open Drive & found that in drive Power Card 'W' phase current sensing soldering wire was puncture in Pcb , I have solder this with extra wire & assembled it ,then trial took with 22kw motor it working ok
