Dear Daniel, Merry Christmas ! I would appreciate your further elaboration on 6ES7-331-1KF02-0AB0. It is a little bit confusing on sinking/sourcing characteristic; As per your below, it is confirmed that input is of sinking type and thus in order to simulate input signal on my application, sourcing mode on my simulator device should be selected. Could you please specify how can i distinguish sourcing/sinking mode from the datasheet or other material available for subject module; I would like to take always into consideration your above approach/instructions so as to evaluate also other type / models of PLC I/Os Thank you in advance

Dear CS Moderator, It is my first time that i am addressing / publishing a question and i am not aware whether i followed the correct path.
