I got this error message: The following program could not be installed: Microsoft SQL server 2005 Express edition SP2. Setup cannot complete the installation. 67 Unknown MSI Error code: 67. I solved the problem with the "Win CUU.zip". Thanks for this.

Clibanarius Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	anirban Just run the tool and remove the "MSXML 6.0" and "MSXML 6.0 Parser" from the installed patch list. After that install the SQL Server 2005 normally. Anirban In my case there was no "MSXML 6.0", so i removed the second one plus "MS SQL Server Setup Support Files". Removing only "MSXML 6.0 Parser" did not work.

Cherri Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	anirban Hi all Great news. Me and my friends have found the solution . Frankly speaking we found the problem in MDSN forum (Microsoft Developer Network). We saw that not only me, so many other persons are facing the same problem while they are trying to install the SQL Server 2005 for WinCC. The solution is that we have to use the "Windows Installer Cleanup Utility" tool from Microsoft. I am attaching the tool for other people who are facing the same problem for their relife . Just run the tool and remove the "MSXML 6.0" and "MSXML 6.0 Parser" from the installed patch list. After that install the SQL Server 2005 normally. It will be installed smoothly. Now install other required PCS tools according to your requirement. That's it. Hope this tip help you all who are facing problem in this regard. Anirban Hi anirban, I thank you a lot.
