Whenever analog input is configured, it needs to scale so that minimum & maximum unit of input measurement is set in logic, it could be temperature, pressure etc. etc. Depending upon logic requirements, based on scaling values either to display the relevant data or for calcultaions, programers converts the measured analog value by writing logic in which progrmer may require artmatically instrunctions e.g. multipication, addition, subtraction etc. etc. So all it depends on what is logic requirement & how programer writes the logic. Hi! Are you sure with this? According to the handbook I should get an integer value between 32767 and -32767, where the nominal area is between 13720 and -2700 for thermocouples type K. Divided by 10 I get the values in °C --> So the nominal area is between 1370.20 and -270 °C. Please have a look at the handbook (Handbook) p. 69. So I shouldn't have to scale anything? |
