Hello JL; Sorry, I do not remember seeing such an error code in my S7-300 projects. And code 30:558 is not described in the Error Codes document I generally relied on: What is the meaning of the error codes (xxxx:yyyy) in STEP 7? https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/770453 Does the Help button give any useful indication? If not, I would suggest a Support Request, to ask a Siemens tech directly; the link is at the top of this page. As far as your DB is concerned, it simply means that inside your FC block you are opening a specific DB and read or write from it. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Hello neeraj; In Step 7, a symbol is a name associated with an absolute address that makes the address easily understandable to the user. For example M203.5 is used as the temperature alarm for one of the motors in your project. If you associate with M203.5 the symbol "Mot_22 temp alrm" any one reading the program can understand the use of M203.5 in your program. To associate the absolute address to its symbolic name, you open the symbol table that is part of your project; unless the program was uploaded from the CPU, in which case you have a blank symbol table, which was the original question that started this thread. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier RNF(Antares):lblHtmlPost_AttachmentScreenshot_20201003-053927_Chrome.jpg (9 RNF(Antares):lblHtmlPost_DownloadCount) |
