Hello All

I have TIA version 13 and recently i updated it to SP1 by installing all the required packages.

But While  installing the safety package for SP1 TIA ,I got the Error in System configuration.

TIA portal doesnt open and closes with an error message that TIA Portal has encountered a problem and needs to be closed.

Please find the attached log file of installation of safety pack for SP1 and suggest accordingly.

in the Logfile director should be a file "Siemens.Automation.Generator.Framework.log".
In this a detailed view of the error should logged.

have you installed GSD Files ?
In the Generator Log there are problems with the GSD Data.

I dont know about GSD file,i didnt install any.Kindly suggest the procedure for installing the same for SP1

GSD.txt  file exists at the location you told.

I have tried installing the software at the other PC as well but again same thing happened.

I have no idea what is going wrong,during the last installation error comes.

have you try the steps above?
If I understand it correctly the error occurs if you install the Safety package.
The SP1 package installation for Step 7 and WinCC have no errors.

So please check if the following help you:
Open Windows Control Panel -> Programs and Software
go to the entry "Siemens Totally Integrated Automation Portal V13"
start the uninstall procedure

During the Uninstall a dialog appears which list all installed packages and
you can select which package should be uninstalled.
Select only the safety package and show if the uninstall works without error.
After that reboot the PC and check if TIA Portal can be started whithout any error.

Hello

I tried uninstalling the corrupt software but it uninstalled with same error.

So now i am uninstalling everything in TIA portal 13 and will install SP1 as u suggested in previous post,

it will take some time but I hope it should work.
